Kurkure Bhindi / crunchy lady finger's

Kurkure Bhindi is a superb side dish accompanied with dal chawal. I make Bhindi's in many ways, and this is one of them. You can have it as a snack also, in fact in this bhindi , I do not add salt but then too it tastes awesome soon after frying...its crunchy and so crispy that you feel like keep on having them...

Kurkure Bhindi is such that its  easy, simple , but delicious..! here in this version of Bhindi, I have fried them and then tossed with some spices.... A must try bhindi in my style....!


250 gms bhindi ( lady fingers) 
1 tsp red chilly powder 
1/2 tsp chaat masala 
oil for frying.


1. Wash and then soak the bhindi's in a broad vessel covered with water and keep for 2- 3 minutes, now drain the bhindi's and keep aside so that they get dried. ( If you running out of time, take a dry cloth, and wipe all the lady fingers , one by one so that thet get dry ) 

2. Chop the head and tail of Bhindi, chop it into 2 , now take that chopped piece and cut it into four. Complete the whole batch by chopping in this manner and keep aside.

3. Heat oil in a kadhai, add these bhindi's and deep fry , until crunchy and crispy.

4. Drain the bhindi's on an absorbent paper, sprinkle red chilly powder and chaat masala,  mix everything well.

5. Serve hot with dal chawal or as a evening snack.

SERVES: 2 Persons.
