Chicken tandoori in home made schezwan sauce

Chicken tandoori in schezwan style is one of my favourite dish, an appetizer , which is served with schezwan sauce, and the best part is , the sauce it self is so delicious that one does not need any green chutney to relish it, just tossing in schezwan sauce, ingdoes the trick.

A drooling Chicken tandoori that is served with schezwan sauce, am sure you will love the recipe is delicious and best for those who want to have something different from just Tandoori chicken . 

Here my recipe is a quick, easy and palatable schezwan sauce , which you can add in other cuisines or serve as condiments with chicken lollipops, chicken finger and so on. You can prepare this schezwan sauce in a large quantity and store in a tight container for further use .

Recipe of Tandoori Chicken without Tandoor ( on gas )

Tandoori chicken is named after tandoor in which the dish is traditionally prepared. Tandoori chicken basically comes from punjab ( India) , but it has its roots from mughal era too. Tandoori Chicken is marinated in curd, lemon juice and other spices , then grilled in tandoor after few hours, which gives a mesmerizing and lip smacking flavor to the chicken making it dry and juicy at the same time.

Though Tandoori Chicken is preferably cooked in tandoor or in oven, but here the recipe which I am presenting , and have followed since ages is cooked in a non stick pan and then grilled on gas stove for the grilling effect.

Tandoori chicken is served with mint and coriander chutney ( Click here for chutney recipe )  and raw spicy or non spicy onion salad rings. This is the most famous and favorable dish from India, which many parts of the world relish it today.

Handi Chicken , has the right kind of balance , rich , aromatic texture which is really pleasant to eyes, and so is the taste that's mesmserizng and palatable which leaves you to crave for more. 

A handi , is deep and wide cooking vessel used in North India, Pakistan and Bengal . In fact handi Chicken is made in handi itself, to get that much needed taste , here the spices are added to the chicken directly in handi which in turn gives a mesmerizing aromatic flavour to the Chicken.
